2nd Book of Commandments 10

Revelation received April 7, 1962
At Creston, British Columbia, Canada

This I lay as a commandment: Prepare yourself to move; let your affairs be in order; pay your debts; and if it so be that thou art worthy--for thou hast sinned in a grievous manner before Me--it shall be given unto thee that thou wilt be made great among thy brethren.
However, repent of this thing in sackcloth and ashes that thou may be pure before Me to receive Mine oracles as they shall be given unto you.
Teach not if ye have not the Holy Ghost, for without this utterance thou art as dross.
Be patient in all things and exercise thy faith in all that thou doest that thy light shall shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
Be diligent in all that thou doest that thou may not be counted a sluggard.
Attend to thy duties both at home and in church that all thy works may be perfect before Me.
Prepare thyself for offices in the church that will call upon all thy resources.
Pray always that thou will not be led into temptation and faint.
Gird up thy loins about thee and be ever prepared for that which is to come.
10 Trouble yourself not about Mammon, for thou shalt have sufficient for thy needs.
11 Teach thy children the peaceable things of the kingdom, for they are choice spirits having the seed of Israel.
12 Thou art a chosen vessel unto Me, and if thou wilt have it, thou wilt do many things to prepare this people for My coming.
13 Be content for the present and keep My commandments as I have commanded thee.
Even so, Amen.
