Revelation received September 18, 1986
My son, ye have asked Me concerning My servant Walther.
Behold, I say unto you, because of his health, ye shall not burden him with much responsibility, but ye shall say unto him that I, your Savior, am well pleased with his efforts in the search of truth.
For it was indeed I that prompted him to write the history of the church, from the time of My sojourn upon the earth until the present.
And it was again I that prevented him from completing this work until he should know the complete truth concerning the coming forth of My gospel in these the last days.
For much information that he requires has been hid up by My church, for they changed much of what My servant Joseph Smith established.
And they have hidden these records that they be not found out.
And I command My servants in the School to obtain all the information they can, including the Journal of My servant Wilford Woodruff and other documents that ye have and will continue to obtain, and place them in the hands of My servant Walther that he may continue the history until it is complete.
And ye shall baptize and ordain him and set him aside as a counselor to the World School to replace My servant Barry whom ye shall release and turn over to the buffetings of the adversary that perhaps he repent and return unto Me.
And behold, My servant Walther is concerned with what will happen when he returns to his homeland, and behold I say unto him that his heart shall be at peace, for if he listens to My still small voice, I shall instruct him from time to time that he be led into the right path.
For he shall do things quietly and without noise unless I instruct him otherwise, that he heap not unto himself much persecution.
And ye shall confer upon him all necessary powers that by My Word, and under the instruction and acceptance of the World School, that he shall set up a School in his homeland if there be those that step forward in humility and meekness and hunger for truth.
Nevertheless, they are commanded to prepare themselves to gather at a certain time appointed, for his homeland is not an appointed gathering place, saith the LORD.
Even so, Amen.
