2nd Book of Commandments 156

Revelation received June 18, 1989
At Santaquin, Utah

My Son, I your Savior do again speak unto you that more knowledge may be revealed unto you.
Ye have asked Me concerning the other side, and ye are correct in assuming that those who have passed on must be made aware of thee and thy calling just as those in the flesh must be made aware of these matters.
For they have the same prejudices and blindness there as they had here.
And as I showed unto thee in a dream, there would be those called there to preach and call repentance to these spirits just as they are called here.
For they have the same free agency there as they had when they sojourned here in the flesh.
Therefore, if they are converted there to the truth, then they can have positive influences over happenings in the earthly existence.
For all men must be taught and accept truth whether they be in the flesh or in the spirit, it mattereth not, for free agency is an eternal principle and can only be lost by one accepting domination from another, wherein one gives up their free agency to gain security.
For in righteousness one is led by instruction in truth and is willing to follow truth in every circumstance.
Verily I say unto you, few find this path to the Celestial realms, and would rather follow another than their God to gain peace.
10 And unto My servant Robert2 I am well pleased that he hath purchased the farm from My Servant.
11 For I have withheld much of My blessings to him up to this time. For I reward My servants only to the extent that they keep My commandments.
12 And unto My servant David, I am pleased with many of the efforts he hath made, and am blessing him in accordance to what he hath accomplished
13 But in some things he hath not yet understood My will, and must listen and heed more carefully the words I have spoken to him, for until he complies, I cannot help him completely.

14 Heed My will O' Israel and be not afraid, for if ye will but do My will ye shall again obtain the former blessings.
Even so, Amen.
