1 My son, ye have asked Me your Savior the interpretation of the saying, "They have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinances and broken the everlasting covenant--"

2 And behold it could apply only to the organization set up by My servant Joseph Smith, for it was he, under My direction, that set up the laws and ordinances, and established the everlasting covenant of marriage among the Gentiles as was promised;

3 And it is the Gentiles who have transgressed these laws and changed these ordinances and broken the everlasting covenant of marriage.

4 For all the other religions existing at the time of My servant had not these laws and ordinances, nor the everlasting covenant of marriage among them;

5 For none of the religious organizations then or even today had these laws;

6 Therefore, could it apply to them? I say unto you nay.

7 For it is the present church calling itself by My name who have transgressed these laws and changed these ordinances--

8 And the everlasting covenant of marriage they have totally abandoned;

9 And only a corrupted version of these laws, ordinances and everlasting covenants remain.

10 And unless they repent swiftly, they shall be ignominiously removed and be trodden under foot;

11 For I, the Lord, shall decree and cause it to happen; for My word through My prophets shall not be mocked, and shall surely come to pass.
Even so, Amen.
