Hearken, therefore, unto me, for I have chosen a day of bloodshed and of great wickedness, and of many abominations, to send forth my word again unto you, O inhabitants of the earth; yea, even to speak unto you as in days of old. For in your times of peace you lightly regard the word of God. You seek continually the riches of the world wherein you find many pleasures, and pursue many engagements, and do not pause to consider, but go on in your works of darkness, filling the cup of your iniquity, and bringing everlasting condemnation upon your souls.
